Forgive me - but the earliest appearance was in Cuckfield, 1327, of William
Blaker; and the second was in Shelley in Beeding.
But for some reason you want to go pre 1400 only on the Shoreham and
Portslade Blakers ?
The Portsalde and Shoreham are certainly the leading Blaker families; though
they do relate to one of the two Cuckfield Blaker families.
And Portslade and Shoreham are used interchangeably to describe these
leading Blaker families.
