William Blaker of Cuckfield, Sussex, was assessed to the Lay Subsidy
of that County in the year 1327.
Note that no other Blaker appears in either the Rape of Lewes or the Rape of
Bramber in this subsidy, nor in the lay subsidies of these Rapes levied in 1296 or
1332.
